Seeking the Right Amendable Path (STRAP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting at-risk teens in graduating from high school and developing crucial life skills. Our Youth Mentoring Program provides a comprehensive range of services, including business exploration, mentoring, counseling, and community service initiatives.
In collaboration with the Gwinnett County Juvenile Court System, STRAP serves as a valuable resource for teens referred to the program as part of their court case. Established in 2012 by Gwinnett County Retired Sheriff Deputy Steven Cooley and Gwinnett County Juvenile Court Judge Rodney Harris, STRAP’s mission is to equip juveniles with decision-making skills that empower them to make positive life choices, ultimately encouraging their transformation into productive members of society. By combining education, mentorship, and community engagement, STRAP aims to instill confidence and resilience in these young individuals, guiding them toward a future of success and contributing positively to their communities.
